Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain official city records, ordinances, and meeting minutes
- Administer oaths of office and public record requests
- Oversee city elections and voter registration processes
- Provide legislative support to City Council and commissions
- Coordinate public records retention and destruction programs
- Lead public outreach initiatives for civic engagement
- Ensure compliance with California Public Records Act requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field
- 5+ years municipal government experience
- California Notary Public certification
- Advanced knowledge of municipal record management systems
- Experience with public records law compliance
- Proficiency in document management software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
