Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain all official city records including ordinances, resolutions, and meeting minutes
- Oversee municipal election administration ensuring compliance with state/federal regulations
- Provide public records access and information services to citizens, staff, and officials
- Coordinate city council agenda preparation and legislative documentation
- Implement records retention policies and digital archiving systems
- Supervise clerk staff and election day operations
- Prepare official certifications and notarized documents for public use
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- 5+ years municipal records management or government administrative experience
- Colorado Notary Public certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Advanced proficiency in document management systems (e.g., Laserfiche, SharePoint)
- Deep knowledge of Colorado Sunshine Laws and election procedures
