Responsibilities
- Manage, preserve, and provide access to official municipal records, ordinances, and minutes

- Administer oaths of office and notarization services for public officials
- Coordinate public record requests and ensure compliance with FOIA regulations
- Manage legislative tracking systems and document distribution workflows
- Serve as clerk for city council meetings and public hearings

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of municipal records management experience
- Proficiency in records management software (e.g., Laserfiche, M-Files)
- Deep knowledge of DC municipal codes and election procedures
- Notary public certification preferred
- Exceptional written communication and documentation skills
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Experience with public records request fulfillment protocols
