Responsibilities
- Manage and preserve all official city records, ordinances, resolutions, and meeting minutes
- Oversee city elections, voter registration, and ballot processing with meticulous attention to detail
- Provide administrative support to the City Council, including agenda preparation and public records requests
- Ensure compliance with state statutes and municipal code requirements
- Coordinate public notices and legal advertisements for city actions
- Lead records management systems and implement retention policies
- Serve as the official custodian of the city seal and public documents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of municipal government or records management experience
- Arizona Notary Public certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expert knowledge of open meeting laws (A.R.S. Title 38) and public records statutes
- Advanced proficiency in records management software and document imaging systems
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage confidential information with discretion
