- Officially record and certify all City Council proceedings, ordinances, and resolutions
- Manage and maintain municipal records, contracts, and historical documents
- Oversee public records requests and ensure compliance with open records laws
- Administer oaths and affirmations for public officials and notarize documents
- Coordinate municipal elections and voter registration services
- Prepare agendas and meeting materials for City Council sessions
- Lead records management digitization and archival preservation projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in municipal records management or government administration
- Expertise in Louisiana public records laws and municipal governance
- Proficient with records management software and document digitization systems
