Responsibilities
- Manage and preserve all official municipal records, ordinances, and resolutions
- Oversee the administration of municipal elections and voter registration
- Provide administrative support to the Common Council and public meetings
- Process and certify official city documents including permits and licenses
- Respond to public inquiries regarding city records, procedures, and policies
- Maintain the city's legislative history and administrative code
- Coordinate records management compliance and retention policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of municipal government or records management experience
- Proficiency in records management systems and municipal software
- Wisconsin Notary Public certification required
- Strong knowledge of election laws and procedures
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality
