Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the official city records, including minutes, ordinances, resolutions, and contracts, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Receive, process, and file a high volume of incoming correspondence, deeds, licenses, and permits for the City Council and various departments.

  • Support the election process by preparing ballots, checking voter registration lists, and ensuring voting locations are equipped with necessary materials.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Public Administration, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in clerical work, records management, or administrative support within a government or corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with database management systems (e.g., SharePoint, Salesforce, or similar).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations and high-ranking officials.
