- Administer public records requests and compliance with California Public Records Act

- Advise City Council on procedural matters and ordinance adoption
- Coordinate public hearings, notices, and legal advertising requirements
- Lead records digitization and document retention programs
- Serve as clerk to the Sacramento City Council and advisory committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years municipal clerk or records management experience
- Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) designation preferred
- Deep knowledge of California election laws and Brown Act requirements
- Expertise in records management systems and document retention policies
