Responsibilities
- Maintain security protocols and conduct regular patrols within correctional facilities
- Monitor inmate activities and enforce institutional rules/regulations
- Respond to emergencies, incidents, and medical situations with swift professionalism
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies during critical operations
- Conduct inmate searches and contraband detection procedures
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and municipal correctional standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Arizona Driver's License upon hire
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Current First Aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Excellent communication skills and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to remain calm under high-pressure situations
