Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and enforce facility rules to maintain order and safety
- Conduct regular security checks and headcounts to prevent contraband
- Respond to emergencies and incidents with de-escalation techniques
- Document incidents and maintain accurate reports for regulatory compliance
- Supervised inmate movement during meals, recreation, and medical appointments
- Collaborate with team members to implement rehabilitation programs
- Perform perimeter security checks and control access points
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for report documentation
- Physical ability to restrain individuals and climb stairs
- Completion of state-approved correctional training academy
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
