Responsibilities
- Maintain security and order during weekend shifts in correctional facilities
- Conduct inmate supervision, headcounts, and facility inspections
- Respond to emergencies and incidents following established protocols
- Document incidents and maintain accurate security records
- Monitor visitation and movement within the facility
- Participate in rehabilitation and reintegration programs
- Operate security systems and emergency equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency
- Pass background check, drug screening, and physical fitness test
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation systems
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
