Responsibilities
- Process and file legal documents including court orders, motions, and case files with 100% accuracy
- Manage court dockets and schedules using proprietary judicial software
- Assist attorneys, judges, and the public with in-person and virtual inquiries
- Maintain confidential records in compliance with Texas State Records regulations
- Prepare official court correspondence and notices
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies for document service
- Operate court recording equipment and manage digital archives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 2 years experience in legal/administrative role
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and legal documentation software
- Excellent typing skills (60+ WPM) and attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of Texas court procedures and terminology
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Valid Texas driver's license for occasional off-site duties
