Responsibilities
- Manage and organize official court documents, dockets, and case files with the highest level of accuracy.
- Assist judges and attorneys with case management, scheduling, and administrative support tasks.
- Answer inquiries from the public regarding case status, court procedures, and filing requirements.
- Verify and process payments for fines, fees, and civil cases using automated court systems.
- Perform high-volume data entry to maintain updated digital and physical records.
- Facilitate courtroom proceedings by preparing exhibits and maintaining courtroom order.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate required.
- Previous experience in office administration, legal reception, or a similar public service role is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and court management software (e.g., Case.net).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills essential for record keeping.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to strict legal and ethical standards.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse members of the public.
