Responsibilities
- Customer Assistance: Greet and assist customers with inquiries regarding vehicle registration, license renewals, title transfers, and road tax payments.
- Transaction Processing: Accurately process transactions using the ADOT Motor Vehicle Division (MVD) computer systems and automated kiosks.
- Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve customer complaints or discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
- Information Delivery: Provide clear, accurate, and up-to-date information regarding Arizona motor vehicle laws, fees, and procedures.
- Record Keeping: Maintain precise and confidential records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Queue Management: Monitor waiting areas and manage customer queues to ensure an efficient flow of traffic.
- Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in customer service, reception, or administrative support.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex information to diverse audiences.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain data accuracy and handle cash transactions responsibly.
- Background: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening as required by state regulations.
- Availability: Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends or holidays if required.
