Responsibilities
- Interact with citizens via phone, email, and in-person to assist with inquiries regarding state programs and services.
- Process and review applications for unemployment benefits, cash assistance, and other social services.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain up-to-date records in state databases.
- Resolve customer complaints and escalate complex issues to appropriate supervisors effectively.
- Provide exceptional service by answering questions and guiding citizens through procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to improve workflow and customer satisfaction scores.
- Adhere to all state policies, procedures, and confidentiality regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Basic computer proficiency and typing skills (minimum 30 wpm).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to listen actively.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Willingness to learn new software systems and adapt to changing procedures.
- Must be a resident of the State of Arizona.
- Reliable transportation is preferred.
