Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze network traffic for security threats using advanced SIEM tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on DoD systems
- Develop and implement incident response protocols for cyber-attacks
- Ensure compliance with NIST SP 800-53 and RMF frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture
- Prepare detailed security reports and executive briefings
- Manage security access controls and user permissions
Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years experience in network security and threat analysis
- Expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Certification in CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Proficiency with Windows/Linux environments and cloud security
- Experience with federal cybersecurity standards and compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
