Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze network traffic for security anomalies using SIEM tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on DoD systems
- Develop incident response plans and lead breach mitigation efforts
- Implement NIST and FISMA compliance frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture
- Classify and protect sensitive government data (CUI, SAP)
- Provide cybersecurity awareness training to personnel
Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance (minimum)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years experience in network security or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification
- Proficiency with Splunk, Wireshark, and vulnerability scanners
- Familiarity with DoD RMF and JPAS processes
- Ability to obtain Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
