Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity incidents and alerts in real-time to ensure system integrity.
- Implement and maintain strict security protocols compliant with government standards (NIST, FISMA, DFARS).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
- Manage user access controls, identity management, and authentication processes.
- Prepare and present detailed security reports to stakeholders and external auditors.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate security solutions into the network infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, network administration, or systems engineering.
- Certification preferred: CISSP, Security+, CEH, or CISM.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (Secret or Top Secret).
- Strong understanding of network architecture, threat detection tools, and risk management frameworks.
