Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze network traffic for malicious activities and potential security breaches.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to ensure system integrity.
- Implement and manage security protocols in accordance with NIST and DoD standards.
- Investigate security incidents and coordinate response efforts with incident response teams.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff on cybersecurity best practices.
- Maintain accurate documentation of security configurations and audit logs.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, or related fields.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government background investigation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
