We are looking for a highly skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team for an immediate hire opportunity in San Diego, CA. This is a critical role within our Federal and State Government contracting division, focusing on the protection of classified and sensitive information.

Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity incidents and threats within federal government networks.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Enforce compliance with NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP security frameworks.
- Collaborate with federal agencies to report security anomalies and coordinate incident response.
- Manage and maintain SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) systems.
- Perform regular security audits and generate detailed compliance reports.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret (TS) or Top Secret/SCI clearance is mandatory.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in government contracting or public sector IT.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field.
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, or GCIH preferred.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Experience with Python or PowerShell scripting for security automation.
