Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex information technology systems and solutions.
- Conduct system analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and project scopes.
- Mentor junior IT staff and conduct technical training sessions.
- Ensure strict adherence to New York State IT security standards and compliance regulations.
- Manage project lifecycles from initiation through deployment using Agile methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Systems Analysis or IT Project Management.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or SQL.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder management.
- Ability to obtain a New York State security clearance is preferred.
