Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level IT infrastructure systems
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives and threat mitigation strategies
- Coordinate cross-agency technology projects and vendor management
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery/business continuity plans
- Provide technical guidance to junior IT staff and agency partners
- Ensure compliance with NIST and NY State IT security standards
- Analyze system performance and recommend optimization solutions
- Document technical procedures and policy updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive IT infrastructure experience
- Active CISSP or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and virtualization
- Experience with government IT compliance frameworks
- Strong project management (PMP or similar certification)
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Valid NYS driver's license
