Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor advanced cybersecurity protocols across federal networks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical systems
- Develop incident response plans and lead breach mitigation efforts
- Collaborate with federal agencies on threat intelligence sharing
- Ensure compliance with NIST and FISMA security standards
- Train personnel on cybersecurity best practices and protocols
- Manage security tools including SIEM systems and firewalls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years in cybersecurity or information assurance
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Expert knowledge of federal IT security frameworks (NIST, FISMA)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) environments
- Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret security clearance
- Strong analytical skills and threat assessment expertise
