Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to cybersecurity threats across federal networks using SIEM tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified systems
- Develop and implement security protocols for cloud and hybrid IT environments
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams during incident response operations
- Document security procedures and maintain compliance with FISMA and NIST standards
- Train personnel on cybersecurity best practices and emerging threats
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Security+ CE certification or equivalent DoD 8570 compliance
- Minimum 3 years experience in network security or incident response
- Proficiency in AWS/Azure security services and IAM tools
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Experience with federal IT procurement processes preferred
