Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor advanced intrusion detection/prevention systems across classified networks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on DoD infrastructure
- Develop and enforce security policies compliant with NIST and DoD standards
- Lead incident response for security breaches and cyberattacks
- Manage access control systems and identity management frameworks
- Collaborate with IT teams on secure system architecture design
- Prepare detailed security documentation and compliance reports
Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with DoD/federal systems experience
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification
- Expertise in network security tools (Splunk, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto)
- Familiarity with RMF (Risk Management Framework) and NIST 800-53
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
