Responsibilities
- Lead threat detection, analysis, and incident response for federal systems
- Develop and implement robust cybersecurity protocols aligned with NIST standards
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on cyber threat intelligence sharing
- Maintain compliance with FISMA and federal security regulations
- Mentor junior cybersecurity professionals and document security procedures
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical incidents
Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years experience in federal IT security operations
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, IBM QRadar)
- Knowledge of CMMC frameworks and DoD cybersecurity standards
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) architecture
- Ability to obtain DHS Suitability Determination
