Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain advanced cybersecurity protocols across DoD networks
- Conduct threat assessments and vulnerability penetration testing
- Develop incident response plans and coordinate security breach mitigation
- Ensure compliance with NIST and Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) standards
- Train personnel on cybersecurity best practices and threat awareness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into IT infrastructure
- Monitor security systems and analyze threat intelligence data
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of professional cybersecurity experience
- Active CISSP, Security+, or DoD-approved certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, ArcSight)
- Familiarity with DoD RMF (Risk Management Framework) process
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance
