Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on federal networks
- Monitor security alerts and respond to cybersecurity incidents
- Implement NIST cybersecurity frameworks and compliance protocols
- Collaborate with federal agencies on threat intelligence sharing
- Develop security awareness training programs for federal personnel
- Manage encryption systems and access controls
- Prepare incident response reports and security documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity or IT security roles
- Active Security+ CE or CISSP certification
- Experience with federal IT security standards (FISMA, NIST SP 800-53)
- Knowledge of threat detection tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS)
- Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
