Responsibilities
- Implement advanced security protocols for classified DoD networks and systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on federal infrastructure
- Develop incident response plans and lead security breach mitigation efforts
- Maintain compliance with NIST 800-53 and FedRAMP standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture
- Monitor security operations center (SOC) alerts and analyze threat intelligence
- Prepare detailed security documentation and compliance reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Active DoD Secret clearance (or ability to obtain)
- 5+ years experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles
- CompTIA Security+ CE or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, ArcSight) and network security protocols
- Experience with federal IT systems and compliance frameworks
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work in high-pressure environments
