Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs).
- Provide advanced technical support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution for end-users and hardware systems.
- Perform regular system backups and ensure data integrity and security compliance.
- Monitor network performance to identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance.
- Document technical procedures, configurations, and system changes accurately.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and software solutions.
- Conduct user training sessions to enhance digital literacy across the department.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or network engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing, and switching protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Valid California Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle for site visits.
- Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screening.
