Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure IT systems supporting veteran healthcare operations
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives including threat detection, vulnerability assessments, and incident response
- Coordinate with federal agencies to ensure compliance with FISMA and NIST standards
- Manage IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and cloud-based solutions
- Develop technical documentation and training materials for staff
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT modernization projects
- Provide tier-3 technical support and system troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive IT experience with federal systems
- Active Security+ CE certification or equivalent
- Proficiency in network architecture, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and cybersecurity protocols
- Experience with ITIL frameworks and IT service management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
