Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on federal networks
- Implement and monitor security controls for cloud and hybrid IT environments
- Lead incident response coordination during cybersecurity breaches
- Develop risk mitigation strategies for classified and unclassified systems
- Collaborate with cross-agency partners on threat intelligence sharing
- Maintain compliance with NIST and FISMA security standards
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Secret security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, ArcSight)
- Knowledge of federal IT security frameworks (NIST 800-53)
