Responsibilities
- Lead cybersecurity incident response for federal systems in NYC metropolitan area
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical infrastructure
- Develop and implement NIST-compliant security policies and procedures
- Monitor SIEM systems for advanced persistent threats (APTs)
- Coordinate with FBI, NSA, and other federal agencies on threat intelligence
- Manage security clearance access protocols and audit trails
- Train staff on cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years experience in federal cybersecurity roles
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in network security tools (Splunk, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike)
- Knowledge of FISMA, CMMC, and NIST SP 800-53 standards
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and ICS/SCADA systems
