Responsibilities
- Lead incident response coordination for federal systems in the Pacific Northwest region
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical infrastructure
- Develop and implement cybersecurity policies compliant with NIST and FISMA standards
- Analyze threat intelligence and provide actionable security recommendations
- Mentor junior cybersecurity specialists and conduct security awareness training
- Collaborate with CISA and FBI on joint cybersecurity operations
- Manage security audits and compliance reporting for federal agencies
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Top Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with federal systems
- Certification in CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in network security, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and SIEM tools
- Demonstrated experience with incident response frameworks (NIST SP 800-61)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts
- Experience with federal compliance requirements (FISMA, NIST 800-53)
