Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats across federal systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified networks
- Implement and maintain NIST-compliant security controls and protocols
- Collaborate with federal agencies on incident response and threat intelligence sharing
- Develop comprehensive security documentation and compliance reports
- Lead cybersecurity awareness training for federal personnel
- Manage security incident response protocols during emergencies
Qualifications
- Active U.S. government security clearance (Secret or higher)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in federal cybersecurity operations
- Certification in CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, ArcSight) and network security protocols
- Knowledge of FISMA, NIST SP 800-53, and FedRAMP requirements
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments during security incidents
