Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on DoD networks
- Implement advanced intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches
- Develop and maintain security documentation (RMF, NIST compliance)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms
- Provide cybersecurity training to staff at all levels
- Stay current on emerging threats and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- Certification in CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in NIST RMF framework implementation
- Proficiency with Splunk, Wireshark, and Kali Linux
- Experience with DoD-specific systems (JWICS, NIPRNet)
- Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance
