Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on federal systems
- Implement and monitor intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Develop incident response protocols and lead breach mitigation
- Ensure compliance with NIST 800-53 and FISMA standards
- Collaborate with cross-agency security task forces
- Generate security reports for senior leadership
- Maintain CUI (Controlled Unclassified Information) protocols
Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in IT/Cybersecurity or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in enterprise cybersecurity or federal IT roles
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or CISSP certification
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) frameworks
- Knowledge of federal cybersecurity regulations and frameworks
