Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning, landscaping, and maintenance of park facilities, restrooms, and recreational areas.
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers.
- Inspect facilities for safety hazards and report maintenance needs to supervisors.
- Ensure compliance with all city safety regulations and operational procedures.
- Assist in event setup and teardown as required by departmental needs.
- Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in maintenance, landscaping, or custodial work is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) and a clean driving record.
- Strong commitment to customer service and public safety.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
