Responsibilities
- Perform advanced data analysis and modeling to support state agency decision-making processes.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards using Tableau or PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with all state and federal regulations.
- Create comprehensive reports, executive summaries, and statistical summaries for leadership presentations.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement within government datasets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik Sense.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
