Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to department directors and staff including document preparation, scheduling, and records management
- Assist with public inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions with professionalism and accuracy
- Manage departmental databases and maintain confidential records in compliance with government regulations
- Coordinate meetings, events, and training sessions for departmental staff and community stakeholders
- Process administrative paperwork including permits, applications, and departmental correspondence
- Support departmental reporting requirements through data collection and preliminary analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects and initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Public Administration or related field preferred
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace
