Responsibilities
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties to support office operations, including filing, photocopying, and data entry.
- Manage incoming correspondence, emails, and phone inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.
- Assist in preparing routine reports and maintaining accurate records in federal databases.
- Coordinate meeting schedules and assist with logistics for internal departmental meetings.
- Support higher-level staff with special projects and research tasks as assigned.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with federal safety regulations.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required for most federal positions.
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) is mandatory.
- Ability to pass a standard background investigation and fingerprint check.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to undergo on-the-job training and obtain necessary security clearances.
