Responsibilities
- Assist federal officers and staff with daily administrative duties and document processing.
- Maintain and organize both physical and digital filing systems for federal records.
- Answer and direct high-volume phone inquiries and emails in a professional manner.
- Prepare, proofread, and distribute routine correspondence and memos.
- Update and verify databases with new employee and case information.
- Ensure strict confidentiality and compliance with federal regulations and office protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Must be willing to undergo a federal background check.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
