Responsibilities
- Receive and direct incoming phone calls and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Perform high-volume data entry and maintain accurate digital and physical records for federal documents.
- Prepare, proofread, and distribute routine correspondence, memos, and reports.
- Assist senior staff with administrative tasks, project coordination, and filing.
- Sort, process, and log incoming mail and packages according to strict federal protocols.
- Update office databases and filing systems to ensure compliance with government standards.
- Provide general clerical support to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required for federal employment.
- Education: High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) is mandatory.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a mandatory background investigation and security clearance check.
- Skills: Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
