Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for federal hardware and software systems.
- Assist in the configuration and maintenance of local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
- Maintain accurate records of IT incidents, tickets, and system configurations.
- Collaborate with senior staff to implement federal cybersecurity protocols and data protection measures.
- Perform routine system backups and disaster recovery testing to ensure data integrity.
- Conduct user training sessions to ensure staff proficiency with federal applications.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required for most federal positions.
- High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, networking, and operating systems.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow complex federal guidelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background investigation and obtain a security clearance.
