Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 & 2 IT Support: Assist federal clients with hardware, software, and network troubleshooting via phone and ticketing systems.
- Manage IT Assets: Assist in the inventory, tracking, and distribution of federal IT equipment and peripherals.
- Data Entry & Compliance: Ensure accurate data entry into government databases and maintain strict adherence to security protocols and compliance standards.
- Network Support: Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and perform routine system maintenance.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries, providing clear and professional solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Experience: No prior federal experience required, but basic IT knowledge (Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite) is a plus.
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Location Flexibility: Willingness to work in the Baltimore, MD, or Northern Virginia area.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
