Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into robust technical specifications and system designs.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of integrated IT solutions for state agencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and government stakeholders, to ensure project alignment.
- Perform system testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting to maintain high system integrity and performance.
- Oversee the migration of legacy systems to modern cloud-based architectures.
- Create comprehensive documentation for technical processes, user manuals, and system architecture.
- Maintain strict adherence to state security compliance and data privacy regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Systems Analysis, Software Engineering, or IT Project Management.
- Proficiency in programming languages (Java, Python, or C#) and database management systems (SQL, Oracle).
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
- Ability to obtain a government security clearance (Secret/Top Secret).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
