Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) for federal clients.
- Implement and troubleshoot network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for end-users in a government environment.
- Monitor system performance, ensure data integrity, and conduct regular system audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to upgrade hardware, software, and infrastructure.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for system configurations and security compliance.
- Support the deployment of new technologies and adhere to NIST security frameworks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in federal IT environments or network administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Cisco networking technologies.
- Experience with security clearance processes and federal compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills for client-facing interactions.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance (preferred).
