Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure federal IT infrastructure and network architectures.
- Conduct rigorous vulnerability assessments and security audits to ensure compliance with NIST and FedRAMP standards.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and incident response for complex federal systems.
- Develop and implement cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive government data.
- Lead technical teams in the deployment of IT modernization initiatives.
- Prepare and submit detailed technical reports and compliance documentation for federal auditors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align IT solutions with strategic business goals.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one) is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal government or defense contracting environments.
- Technical certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC are strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of FedRAMP, DIACAP, or NIST SP 800-53 security controls.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead teams in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting.
