Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for federal client hardware and software systems.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot network issues to ensure 99.9% uptime for federal operations.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate service logs for all support tickets.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to implement security protocols and compliance measures.
- Conduct routine hardware audits and inventory management for government assets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- 0-2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic networking concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical users.
- U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
- Willingness to undergo a background investigation and drug screening.
