Responsibilities
- Design, install, and maintain local area networks and hardware systems for county departments.
- Provide advanced technical support, troubleshooting, and resolution for end-users.
- Ensure data integrity, security compliance, and network performance optimization.
- Manage software updates, patch management, and system backups.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify technical requirements and implement solutions.
- Document technical processes and maintain accurate system logs and inventories.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or network engineering.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, or CCNA are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and network protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening required for government employment.
